GGAC founder John Walden

The founder of Go Green Adventure Camping John Walden, has recently published his interesting and varied autobiography 'Memoirs of a Moonraker', a life in and out of business.

If you would like to know a little more about the interesting experiences John writes about in his book take a look in the 'J W Partnership' section of this web site.

Camping Pods

Recently (August 2015) JWL have been investigating the possibility of introducing Camping Pods to the GGAC project. There are several versions of Camping Pods on the market ranging from versions suitable for year round use (Glamping) to more basic and less expensive ones, for summer camping. Initially, the latter ones are the ones which are of interest to GGAC.

In time for the 2016 season JWL are aiming to have at least one Camping Pod available for campers on a trial basis,. Where these will be sited will be announced as soon as possible. Enquiries from FLO's, who would consider purchasing one or more, will be welcome. The units will be portable (mounted on skids) to avoid attention from planners.

Glamping!

To keep abreast of developments in the camping world GGAC have decided to introduce a new category to better decscribe the facilities offered by some of our venues. We are calling this new category 'Glamping'.

'Glamping' will suit those who prefer to have more home comforts than normal around them whilst camping, but still want to experience and enjoy the excitement of being in the 'Great Outdoors'.

GGAC Venues in the North of England

We are pleased to announce the appointment of Paul Edwards and his partner to support and recruit GGAC venues in the counties of Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Lancashire for JW leisure Ltd. (GGAC).

Initial enquiries from FLO's in these Counties should be addressed to enquiries@gogreenadventurecamping.co.uk.

Ablution Solution Developments

The original GGAC Ablution Solution Mark 1 is available to purchase. This includes the GGAC Field Toilet Shelter and the GGAC Toilet Stool. Both items have been proved in the "Field". When purchased by a Venue, this item can be added to the website page for hire under the pricing section.

Ablution Solution Mark 2 - NOW AVAILABLE

The first Trailer mounted version of the GGAC Ablution Solution is now available for use.

The GGAC Ablution Solution Mark 2 is ideal for a Family Group (maximum of 5 families, depending on the makeup of the Group).

This very hygienic and spacious unit comprises a Swedish made Compost Toilet, a Urinal and a large shelve for washing and washing up. A Solar Shower can be added if required. The Floor is of non-slip rubber and the Roof is translucent which provides adequate natural light. When the sliding rear door is closed it is completely private. A Zipped Window can be opened in the Door. The unit has been thoroughly tested and is very fit for purpose!

GGAC are of the opinion that this unit will be particularly attractive to campers who would not consider camping in remote areas due to the lack of suitable Toilet facilities. GGAC look forward to Families and friends booking this unit and we are sure you will be impressed and enjoy your camping.

A further unit is under development which will be mounted on a steel pallet instead of a trailer to reduce cost. It will have the same floor area and could be moved by a frontend loader or forks on a Tractor. Both trailer and pallet mounted versions are ideal for venues offering remote camping areas and will therefore attract additional Bookings.

Farmers and Landowners please go to the FLO page to see a special announcement about the Ablution Solution Mark 2.
